To qualify for a visa for retire in Bali, you must be 55 years of age or older, show proof of life insurance and health insurance, and a minimum guaranteed income of $1,520 USD per month. In the absence of the guaranteed income, you can also show evidence of a lump sum of $18,270. In addition, you will need to affirm that you will employ at least one Indonesian citizen during your time in the country. This can be in the form of a housekeeper or an assistant. You will also have to sign a form stating that you will not work while in Bali and show a rental agreement for a home or Bali retirement residence.
